FAQ's
Q. How often
should a mattress
be cleaned?
A.
Dust mites thrive in this
environment. The recommended
service internal is once every six
months.
Q. Why can’t I just use my own
vacuum cleaner?
A. Traditional cleaners are not
designed to remove the highly
resistant dust mites and other
harmful debris embedded in the
mattress. Also, the all important

key to disinfection.

Fact
– The vast majority of beds in homes, hotels, hospitals etc. are not healthy
places
to sleep. The reason for this is simple.
Every
person sheds an average of 4.5 kilograms of skin per year while
they are sleeping and leaves an average of 8 litres of sweat in a
mattress. This produces the ideal
environment for dust mites and bacteria to live and breed.
These dust
mites leave behind droppings which attract bacteria - all of this
combines to create a very unhealthy and highly allergic
sleeping environment.
The
Problem
People
are sleeping in an environment that is very unhealthy and as a
result there is a good chance that guests are waking up in the
morning with one or more of the following ailments as a result:
Stuffy
nose
Itchy red
eyes
• Sneezes
Wheezing
or tight chest
• Headaches
Sinus pain
•
• Asthma
Eczema
• Hay
fever
Bronchitis
• Headaches
Sinus problems
•
Inflammation of the mucus
membranes
General feeling of fatigue or even depression
It
takes a clinically developed, scientific and professional
application to remove these dust mites. It takes
Hygiene
Solutions.
How
The Process Works
A high intensity germicidal UVC light
developed in South Africa to international standards is
applied to the mattress to destroy the dust mites and
destroy their food source - skin flakes.
The UVC light also kills bacteria, viruses,
fungal spores and other harmful organisms.
Hygiene Solutions’s mattress cleaning system then combines
high frequency pulsating waves and incredible suction
to pulverise and extract the now inedible food source and
the DNA altered dust mites & their droppings. Finally a
coating of a hypoallergenic chemical free spray
(developed in the USA for eliminating Dust Mites, Fleas &
Bed Bugs – which is FDA approved and certified) is
applied to the mattress. The spray is not harmful to
fabric and does not saturate the mattress – the mattress
is ready for use after just 5 minutes.
The sanitising and cleaning process takes
30
minutes per bed, beds are cleaned in the room.
The entire Mattress Hygiene Solutions process is chemical
free and allergen free. There is no noxious odour, and it
is safe for any type of mattress, from a cot to a
king-size.
